This tool fetches public comments, names, organizations, and attachments from regulations.gov and downloads a CSV file.
How to Use This Tool: [ Hide ]
- Get a Regulations.gov API key.
Sign up for an API key through the General Services Administration (GSA) API Directory at: https://open.gsa.gov/api/regulationsgov/. - Find the Document ID.
Go to https://www.regulations.gov/ and search for the Rule or Notice you want to review. Once you find it, copy the Document ID associated with that item. - Enter your information below.
Paste your API key and the Document ID into the fields below. The tool will use this information to locate and extract the public comments connected to that Rule or Notice. - Upload a de-duplication report.
Upload an FDMS de-duplication report to add it to the output file. The tool will use this information to match the document id from the de-duplication report with the document id from the output and append the pivot table data.
Your API key is used only in this page's API requests to Regulations.gov. It is not saved by this tool.
