AFMCFAR SUPPLEMENT (2007 Edition)

The following changes are a result of approval of FAR Case 08-01:

AFMCFARS 5301 – FAR Systems

5301.108 FAR Conventions (90)

• Add—Insert new paragraph (c) (ix) for defective pricing actions to prescribe use of the DCAA Recommended Price Adjustment (RPA) as the dollar value of defective pricing actions for clearance and other thresholds.

• Renumber former paragraph (c)(ix) as (x).

AFMCFARS 5315 – Contracting by Negotiation

5315.407-1 – Defective Cost or Pricing Data

• Revise to require at least one level above the contracting officer when either the negotiation objective or the negotiated amount deviates from the DCAA RPA.

The following changes were inadvertent omissions from publication of the 2007 Edition and/or administrative changes:

• Revised to add / clarify Mandatory Use Policy for Electronic Contract Distribution through Contract Writing Systems. Same Policy Memo as above.
